What This Means for Local Employers
To employers who may be interested in hiring someone with Down syndrome – and those who are already working with us to provide these awesome opportunities – please feel free to reach out and take the next steps with our association. We provide you with a holistic support system designed to create and maintain a successful working relationship with your newest star employee. We work one-on-one with your employee, provide any additional training as well as education and awareness training for your existing team to ensure there is a comfortable work environment for all.

Referral Process:
In order to receive employment services from the Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville, you must first contact Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) and complete a referral form. This can be done in-person or online.
